By excavating the earth, we can leave a mark on the site that goes beyond just the material taken out. We can also use this opportunity to landscape the site and create values like water storage areas. To maintain circularity, local building materials, and techniques, I used local resources and created a sustainable building material. I used the earth on the site and materials like wool from local sheep and beeswax from a local beekeeper to craft a building material that can return to nature after a hundred years without leaving behind any residues or contamination. It will simply break down into its original material constitution.
